A 45 minute lengths swim
We are currently limiting the session to 10 swimmers during a lane swim to ensure a comfortable swimming environment. The pool is divided into lanes designed to cater for swimmers of different speeds. Under 16's must be accompanied in the pool by an adult.

Policy on training fins and swim snorkels during lane swimming.
Training fins & snorkels are allowed during lengths
swims at the on duty staff members discretion.
With only 8 swimmers in lane swims and the absence of clockwise swimming
the risk of injury or discomfort to other swimmers is limited.
If staff members feel the fins are being used
inappropriately or creating an unpleasant environment for others, they can ask
for their use to be ceased.
Fins are to be used with narrow strokes only.
If sharing a lane with other swimmers it is considered good etiquette
to let the swimmer in your lane know that you will be using fins.
The use of fins and snorkels in other swimming sessions (i.e. Leisure Swims & Pool Fun) is prohibited.
